Yo-Rey Co. was founded in 1988 in Taipei by a group of pharmacology specialized professionals aspiring to improve the deficiency of the pharmaceutical development and professional marketing in Taiwan. Yo-Rey was established as an agent of trading and marketing, and had grown rapidly in its sales and performance. In 1996, Yo-Rey was merged with Lotus Pharmaceutical Co. and began operating under the name Lotus Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. Since the merger, Lotus had strengthened the software and the facility and accredited the 3rd stage validation of cGMP (Good Manufacture Practices for drugs) from Dept. of Health (DOH), Executive Yuan, R.O.C. in 2004.
In 2006, Lotus had begun to start business internationally, shares market with countries having advanced regulations in US, Europe, Japan, and etc. In 2010, we approved by FDA inspection, and achieved the combination of manufactory and office. A professional manufactory for anti-tumor drugs was completed in the same year. Since then, Lotus presents a distinct scale and style from before.
Lotus’ core principle of “Research for innovation, Benefit for human beings” motivates us to last development and innovation. Lotus expects to bring human beings the safe and healthy modern life and to create the new cutting edge for pharmaceutical industries in Taiwan. |
